What are the features of Gerlos Ski Resort?
The altitude of Gerlos Ski Resort is at least 1244 meters and at most 2499 meters. Ski lovers with
intermediate and advanced skiing skills can choose the Gerlos pistes. The snowiest month at the ski
resort is in January. On average, 3.6 days of January are snowy, and the snow thickness is 38 cm.
The ski season starts in mid-December at Gerlos Ski Center, it continues until late April.

Gerlos ist eine Gemeinde mit 787 Einwohnern (Stand 1. Jänner 2024) im Bezirk Schwaz in Tirol (Österreich). Die Gemeinde liegt im Gerichtsbezirk Zell am Ziller
Gerlos liegt im Gerlostal, einem Seitental des Zillertals, das bei Zell am Ziller Richtung Osten abzweigt. Die Besiedlung erstreckt sich über mehrere Weiler entlang der Straße zum Gerlospass auf dem rund 1200 m hoch gelegenen Talboden. Im Süden führen die Seitentäler von Schwarzach, Wimmerbach und Schönach in die über 3000 Meter hohen Zillertaler Alpen. Nach Norden liegt auf der Sonnseite der Kitzbühler Alpen ein Schigebiet.[1] Das Gemeindegebiet hat eine Größe von beinahe 120 Quadratkilometern.
